Kirklin was happy to bring waterball back to the park for Kirk’s Crossing this year. Thank you to the event sponsor Excel Tool and Engineering.

Congratulations to Isaiah Fingerle of Rossville for being the 1st place winner.
Our 2nd place shooter was Jayden Weber of Johnson Township.
The temperature was 100 degrees and cloudy for Sundays Waterbll tournament.

The sky was cloudy but the rain held off for the Annual Kirk’s Crossing Parade Saturday.
There were many events at the Park and Shops open for shopping, plus yard sells throughout town. Also a beer garden and live music.

The Thursday night annual Fish Fry marks the beginning of Kirk”s Crossing. As always there was a great turnout for carry out and dinning in at the Fire Department .
The food was exceptional , Fish, tenderloins, french fries, apple sauce. Choice of Pie or cake. Lemon aid, tea, or water. Many volunteers including KVFD, Adults, kids of all ages filling drinks and clearing tables.
There was also a Versiti Blood Drive /Blood Bus at the Kirklin Library.

4-H members including Forest group helped placing flags at Hopewell Church Cemetary and Greys Cemetary with help from Luke and Jacob Weaver.
Jerry Shore and his group including Bennii, Ann, and AJ. worked placing flags at Kirklin Old Town Cemetery,
Loyd, Trent, and Jeremy Paine (Sugar creek Trustee placed flags out at Hills Baptist, Also Kirklin and Sugar creek 4h members placed flags at Oak Hill and Hills Baptist.
Bennii Shore has been placing flags out at cemetery for the Veterans with her dad Jerry Shore since she could walk stated AJ from the Kirklin American Legion.
Also Bill Miller & Goodwins Funeral Home placed his flags out at Goodwins and Greenlawn Cemetary, and Archer Weston.

4 busses of 3rd & 4th graders from Clinton Central invaded TPA Park for a field trip and a day of fun.
The Students had pizza provided by Brunos when they arrived & then after playing they enjoyed Ice Cream Provided by Culvers.
Lots of laugher was heard all over the Park.

Jake McGraw now a freshman at IU Kokomo continues his basketball career as a Cougar On January 13th IU Kokomo played IU Columbus and won 107-82, McGraw led the scoring with a breakout score of 27 (his career high at IU ) also grabbing 5 rebounds.
McGraw continues this path scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds in the game and win against IU East.
Jake McGraw has been named River States Conference Men’s Basketball Offensive Player Of The Week.

With a full room of family, coaches, and friends Matthew Berry signed his letter of intent. Matthew will be going to Franklin College south of Indianapolis to play baseball and will be taking Business Management and Accounting.
Coaches Andy Dudley, Cormac Jewell, and Leo Lopez were in attendance with Matthew tonight.

Exciting basketball Friday at Case Arena, Frankfort JV took down the Sheridan Blackhawks by the score of 40-28.
Frankfort varsity fell to the Blackhawks 79-50, sheridan came out scoring fast and led the Hotdogs 27-5 at the end of the first quarter. The Hotdogs tried to rally back but came up short when the final buzzer whent off.
Frankforts top scoring for the JV game was Landan Spencer with 14 points, Levi Carson with 9 points, and Lucas Rushton adding 6 points,
Sheridan JV top scorers were Levi Gellert 9 points, and Rylan Garner with 7.
Frankfort Varsity top scorers were Charlie Beardsley with 13 points, Matthew Berry and Taran Emery each with 8 points, and Lucas Waggoner adding 7 points.
Top scorers for Sheridan Varsity were Devon Hamilton with 18 points, Trey Page with 17, Jax Peerman and Desh Donathan each with 12 points.

It was a pleasent but chilly day Saturday for the parade.

Thanksgving Eve turned out to be an exciting night of basketball at Case Arena for Frankfort and Clinton Prairie JV and Varsity basketball.
Hotdog basketball went to the floor with Frankforts new varsity coach Albert Hendrix.
Clinton Prairie won over the Hotdogs 51-38 and top scorers for the Gophers were Nick Curtin with 19 points, Evan Smock 12, Hunter Haynes 8, and Jaymon Crick adding 7 points.
Frankfort top scorers were Lucas Waggoner with 10 points, Jayden McBee 9, and Matthew Berry adding 6 points.
Clinton Prairie also won the JV game 37-28 The Gophers top scorers were Sam Hurliman with 10 points, Ryan Swinford 8, Conner Haynes and Xander Dean each with 7 points.
Frankfort Jv top scorers were Levi Carson 12 points, Jordan Brannan 6, and Landan Spencer adding 4.
