Robin D. LaGrange, 68, of Frankfort, passed away June 11, 2026 at her daughter’s home, surrounded by loving family.  She was born on February 6, 1958 in Anchorage, Alaska to Robert and Evelyn (Irwin) Masterson.  She married Paul A. LaGrange on September 3, 1982 and he survives.

Robin is a 1976 graduate of Randolph High School in Universal City, Texas.  She worked for several years as a legal secretary at Ryan Moore Cook & Hunter Law Office in Frankfort.  Robin’s greatest joy is spending time with family, especially her 19 grandchildren.  She also enjoys crocheting and gardening – sunflowers being her favorite.

Surviving along with her husband: Paul is her mother: Evelyn Wooten of Schertz, TX, Children: Krystal Hudspith (Matt Bott) of Frankfort, Lovelyn (Matt) Palm of Valparaiso, and Nathan LaGrange of Zionsville, sister: Traci Permenter of Cibolo, TX, and grandchildren: Nico, Colin (Jordan), Chloe, Anika, Aidan, Jude, Ellie, Ethan, Clayton, Owen, Bianca, Will, Emmy, Evie, Blake, Fiona, Ruby, Karys, and Liliana.  She was preceded in death by her father: Robert Masterson and brother: Steve Masterson.

Robert E. “Bob” Cooper Jr., 78, of Frankfort, passed away June 3, 2026 in his home.  He was born on June 26, 1947 in Oliver Springs, Tennessee to Robert E. Cooper Sr. and Carrie (Freels) Cooper.  He married Christie Lynch in 1992 and she survives.

Bob earned his GED from Frankfort Schools and served in the United States National Guard as a medic.  He was a demolition contractor in the Clinton County area and retired from Frito Lay after several years.  Bob was a hard worker and loved to tinker around his property.  He was a member of the Frankfort Eagles Lodge.

Surviving along with his wife: Christie are his children: Eric Cooper, Rene Ellis, and Chad Myers, siblings: Truman, Bonnie, Jane, and Phyllis, along with 3 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Winston, Paul, Lena, Linda, Mike, Tommy, Peggy, Brenda, and Lori.

Lisa Mae Lawson, 52, of Frankfort, passed away May 10, 2026 in her home.  She was born on March 17, 1974 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to Larry and Lillie (Taylor) Lawson.

Lisa attended Frankfort High School and was a “stay at home mom”.  She was a member of the Frankfort Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.  She enjoyed being outdoors, working in her yard and loved spending time with family, especially her nieces and nephews.

Surviving are her sons: Josh Bowen of Frankfort and Jace Lawson of Frankfort, brother: Larry Joe (Bridgette) Lawson of Frankfort, step-mother: Glenda Lawson, step-brother: David (Stephanie) Saulsberry, along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Donald Wayne McKinney, 78, of Kirklin, passed away May 10, 2026 in his home.  He was born on September 18, 1947 in Frankfort to Ward P. and Mary (Stowers) McKinney.  He married Pamela Williams on November 4, 1978 and she survives.

A life-long Kirklin resident, Donnie was a 1965 graduate of Clinton Central High School and served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1969, serving in Vietnam.  He worked for 26 years at Biddle Precision Components “Biddles” and part-time as a painter.  Donnie was a member of the American Legion Post #310.  He was a “farmboy” and “Jack of all trades”.  He was on a billiard team and enjoyed playing pool, liked being in nature with his dog “Ziggy” and always had a garden.

Surviving along with his wife: Pam are his sons: Anthony Wayne McKinney and Brian Keith McKinney of Frankfort, grandchildren: Cameron McKinney of Missouri and Nikki Nicole Bybee of Frankfort, and his sister Mary Ann Biddle of Sheridan, along with many other grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son: Christopher Wayne McKinney, 2 siblings: Steven Troy McKinney and Gary Dean McKinney.

David D. Hample, 67, of Frankfort, passed away May 5, 2026 at Franciscan Health East, Lafayette, IN.  He was born December 17, 1958 in St. Petersburg, FL to Daniel & Dixie (Wilson) Hample.

David Hample

David was a 1977 graduate of Frankfort High School.  He was employed by Carr Cabinet Factory and operated Dave’s Wire Designs. His wire and wood designs was featured in Folkart Treasurers magazine.  He also traveled with the Turk Johnson Dance Group.  David traveled around the Midwest doing art shows.  He also studied Martial Arts.  David attended the Tabernacle of Lord Jesus Christ Church.

David is survived by his mother, Dixie Hample Lee of Frankfort, father, Daniel (Barbara) Hample of Sugar Hill, Georgia, aunt, Barbara Mathews of Frankfort and an uncle, William (Linda) Dean of Frankfort.  He was preceded in death by his step-father, William Lee.

Kathaleen Susan (Zook) Meiers, 74, of Frankfort, passed away May 3, 2026 at her home.  She was born November 16, 1951 in Huntington Park, California to James Garfield & Vivian Rose (Chadwick) Zook.  She married Michael Meiers on June 17, 1971.

Kathaleen Meiers

Kathaleen was a 1970 graduate of Clinton Central High School and a lifelong Frankfort/Clinton County resident.  She had worked at Unielectric and High Tech Label.  Kathaleen attended Church in Hillisburg and enjoyed quilting and genealogy.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Meiers of Frankfort, daughters, Andrea (Craig) Blakey of Frankfort, Laura Meiers of Frankfort, grandsons, Parker Martinez and Connor Blakey, both of Frankfort, brothers, LeRoy (Carolyn) Zook of Frankfort, Don Henderson of California, Stephen Zook of Frankfort, Robert Zook of Burlington, sister, Candace (Fred) Cheek and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Doug Henderson, James Zook II, Keith Zook and David Zook as well as her grandparents.

Following cremation, graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2026 at Green Lawn Cemetery, 496 W. Lacey was a 2007 graduate of Frankfort High School and had worked in the home health care industry and for Goodwill in Frankfort.  She was a homebody and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  Lacey will be remembered for her sense of humor and her contagious laugh.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her girls.

Eva Mae Noe, 81, of Clarks Hill, Ind., passed away March 27, 2026 in her home.  She was born on July 15, 1944 in Duffield, Virginia to Henry & Nora (Frazier) Hill.  She married Tommy Tyrone Noe on February 20, 1965 in Norton, Virginia and he survives.

Eva was a graduate of Powell Valley High School in Virginia and had lived in Clarks Hill for over 40 years.  She was a homemaker and attended Clarks Hill Christian Church.  She was an avid reader and if anyone gave her a book, she would read it!  She enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing with Tommy.

Surviving along with her husband are her son: Benjamin Tyrone Noe of Clarks Hill, her siblings: Betty (Robert) Stevens of Frankfort, Frances Ferrell of Somerset, KY, and Roy (Toni) Hill of Frankfort, along with 4 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Rosalie Anderson, and siblings: Lorene Moore, Herbert Hill, Irene Harness, Dolly Hill, Annie Bell Hill, Ricky Hill, and Eddie Hill.

Charles W. Wells, 90, of Thorntown, passed away March 21, 2026 at Franciscan Health Indianapolis.  He was born on July 19, 1935 in Indianapolis to Virgil and Martha (Smith) Wells.  He was known by loving family and friends as Chuck.

Chuck earned his BA degree in Administrative Justice from Golden Gate College in California. He served in the United States Army from 1954 to 1978 working as a mechanic before working in Investigations (CID) for the U.S. military.  Following retirement from the Army in 1978, he worked in security for the VA Medical Center in Indianapolis.  He was a former member of the Masonic Lodge.  Chuck was a collector of various items and loved his father’s Allis Chalmers tractors.

Surviving are his children: Chris Wells of Alaska, Mike Wells of Seymour, James Wells of Thorntown, Wade Wells of Tennessee, and Cassandra (Wells) Hobensack of Thorntown, along with 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, children: David Wells and Nora Wells, and a sister: Francis Stoops.
