The Eastern Comets took first at the 2026 Hoosier Heartland Conference volleyball tournament.
The tournament featured a pool-play structure, with each team’s first two matches placing them in gold, silver, or bronze pods for tournament placement.
Eastern went 4-0 on the day, sweeping Tri-Central, Clinton Central and Sheridan, and taking down Rossville in three sets.
Rossville placed second, sweeping Delphi and Carroll, and beating Sheridan in three sets before falling to Eastern.
Sheridan took third place with wins over Taylor and Clinton Prairie.
Clinton Prairie took fourth with wins over Taylor, Clinton Central and Carroll.
