Name tags matter.
One day we are all kids from four little schools, Scircleville, Michigantown, Forest, and Kirklin.
In the blink of an eye we are teenagers growing together at Clinton Central High School becoming life long friends and making beautiful memories.
In another blink of an eye in cap and gowns we are anxiously saying goodbye to teachers and friends as we set out to become adults knowing we will never forget each other.
Another blink of an eye we are back in Clinton County in a small gymnasium looking at the people we grew up with and some stayed close others scattered. Yes , The name tags mattered. Never thinking that we might not recognize each other after 50 years. But the memories were beautiful at our 1976 Clinton Central Class Reunion.
Clinton Central Class of 1976( Bicentennial ) reunion was held Saturday Aug 1 , Clinton Central opened the doors for visiting and a tour of all the new upgrades. at 4:30, following the tour the class met at the Community Center which was also Michigantown School for a geat social hour of reuniting before dinner.
Social hour was provided by the Angry Donkey of Michigantown. And Dinner was catered by Wadell Brothers Grocery of Russiaville.
Two great teachers joined for the evening Rita Zawisza and George Stone. Both were speakers . The Class would also like to thank Sam & Caroline Fields , Michigantown Community Center
