On 07/13/2026 at approximately 10:16 PM, Lebanon Police Officers
responded to the intersection of SR 39 and Anderson Lane reference to a single
vehicle accident with unknown injuries. The 911 caller advised a motorcycle
collided with a utility pole.
Upon arrival, Officers located two occupants trapped between the
motorcycle and the utility pole. Officers, LFD personnel and Witham Medics all
assisted in freeing both occupants from the wreckage. Both occupants were
evaluated and transported emergent to Witham Memorial Hospital.
The driver, who was identified as Larry T. Lane, was airlifted to an
Indianapolis area hospital in critical condition. The passenger, who was identified
as Nicole C. King of Lebanon, was pronounced deceased at Witham Memorial
Hospital.
Due to the severity of the crash, a multi-agency CRASH Team was
requested to investigate.
The accident is still currently under investigation.
