Indianapolis 500 Set for Sold-Out Crowd as 110th Running Arrives

Excitement is at a peak as the 110th running of the takes place Sunday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, with officials confirming a complete sellout of all grandstand seating for the second consecutive year.

The sellout marks a major milestone for the Speedway, with more than 230,000 grandstand seats filled ahead of race day. General admission infield attendance is also expected to be among the largest in recent years, adding to the atmosphere for one of the biggest single-day sporting events in the world.

The 2026 Indianapolis 500 is scheduled to begin Sunday, May 24, at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, with fans from across the country gathering for “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.”
