The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the U.S. 31 northbound ramp to State Road 931 will close on or after Friday, April 10, on the south side of Kokomo.
Crews will be performing full-depth concrete patching and making bridge joint repairs. Additionally, one lane of U.S. 31 northbound remains closed from County Road 550 N. through the S.R. 931 interchange. The lane and ramp closures are expected to remain in place through the end of May, weather permitting.
During this closure, the official detour will follow U.S. 31 and State Road 22.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and use extra caution while traveling in and around work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
