Overnight Lane Closures Planned on I-65 Near Lebanon for Bridge Work

BOONE COUNTY, Ind. — The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced upcoming overnight lane closures on Interstate 65 near Lebanon as part of ongoing construction for the State Road 52 at I-65 interchange project.

Beginning on or after Tuesday evening, April 14, lane closures will affect both northbound and southbound traffic on I-65 between State Road 32 and State Road 47, covering the 140- to 146-mile markers. The restrictions will allow contractors to complete overhead bridge work associated with the new interchange.

According to INDOT, all work will take place overnight between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. The closures are expected to continue for up to one month, though the schedule may change depending on weather and construction conditions.

Drivers traveling through the area should expect delays during nighttime hours and are encouraged to plan ahead or seek alternate routes if possible.

INDOT reminds motorists to use caution in construction zones, stay alert to changing traffic patterns, and avoid distracted driving to help ensure the safety of both workers and fellow drivers.
