Beth Frazier, the Region 4 Representative for the Indiana School Resource Officers Association (INSROA), is calling on schools across Indiana to recognize the outstanding efforts of their School Resource Officers (SROs) and safety leaders.
Each year, INSROA hosts its annual conference in Michigan City, where it celebrates the dedication and service of SROs statewide. During the event, one School Resource Officer from each region is recognized with the Exceptional Service Award. From among these distinguished recipients, the board selects a single individual to receive the prestigious SRO of the Year honor.
In addition to recognizing SROs, INSROA also awards the Safety Leader of the Year to a safety manager, director, or other district leader who has shown exceptional commitment to improving school safety.
Beth Frazier encourages schools to nominate their deserving SROs and safety leaders. “We look forward to hearing about all of the amazing things your SROs are doing in your school communities,” she said. “Thank you for helping us honor those working to make our schools safer!”
Nominations are open now, and the deadline is May 1. School administrators and district leaders are encouraged to submit their nominations via the provided forms:
Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate the heroes who keep Indiana schools safe.
