Green Meadows Earns #1 Spot at State Science Bowl Competition

A team of 11 fifth-grade students from Green Meadows Intermediate earned first place at the 2026 Indiana State Science Bowl, competing against 14 schools from across Indiana!

The competition featured multiple rounds focused on science knowledge and application, with an emphasis on the water cycle.

In the Team Round, students worked together to answer 15 questions and earned a perfect score of 45 out of 45. During the Experiment Round, they completed a hands-on water cycle activity and again received a perfect score of 40 out of 40.

Four students also competed in the Individual Round, where they read a science article and answered 15 questions.

This group worked very hard to prepare, and their efforts showed! Their first-place finish marks a significant achievement, and CSF is very proud to recognize them. We would also like to thank Mrs. Kathleen Jackson for the time and care that she put into coaching the team to prepare them for the competition. Way to go, Wolves!
