Local athletes turned in an impressive day of competition at the Area 4 Wabash Tournament, earning multiple top finishes and showcasing teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship.
The 5v5 team captured the gold medal after a strong performance throughout the tournament, while the youth team earned a bronze medal following a hard-fought series of games. In addition, the 3v3 team finished fourth, competing with energy and resilience against tough opponents.
Coaches and supporters praised the athletes for their dedication and effort both on and off the court, noting that the results reflected countless hours of practice and commitment.
Organizers also expressed their appreciation to Michigantown Christian Church for generously providing the use of a minibus, which helped ensure athletes were able to travel to and from the tournament safely and efficiently.
