The Clinton Prairie Gophers defeated the Clinton Central Bulldogs 71-29 on Friday in the Hoosierland TV Game of the Week.
Nick Ewing had a big day for the Gophers, finishing with 13 points, 15 rebounds and five assists. He was named The Farmers Bank Player of the Game for his performance.

The Gophers jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, leading 37-16 by halftime.
Clinton Central struggled to find an offensive rhythm throughout the contest. Luke Shelley was their leading scorer with seven points.
Clinton Prairie finished with three players in double figures. The aforementioned Ewing was joined by Evan Smock with 18 points and Nick Curtin with 17.
With the win, Clinton Prairie moved to 5-9 before a Saturday evening loss to Western dropped them to 5-10.
Clinton Prairie coach Chad Peckinpaugh also became the winningest coach in Clinton Prairie boys basketball history, picking up his 115th win in his seventh season at the helm for the Gophers.
The Bulldogs are now 2-12 and will look to rebound on Thursday against Carroll.
