Ellen Jean (Flora) Stevens, 65, of Frankfort, died January 28, 2026 at I.U. Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette. She was born March 22, 1960 in Frankfort, IN to Dr. Frederick W. Flora and Martha Ellen (Donnell) Flora. She was previously married to Rick Stevens and he preceded her in death.
Ellen was a valedictorian of her 1978 graduating class from Frankfort High School. She attended Indiana University of Kokomo. She was a member of the St. Matthew United Methodist Church. Ellen was a retired photographer. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren.
Ellen is survived by her daughter, Kristen (Matt) Beardsley of Frankfort, brother, Ben (Cherri) Flora of Frankfort, grandchildren, Anna, Luke, Charlie and Katia Beardsley.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ryan Matthew Stevens and brother, David C. Flora.
Visiting will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, February 2, 2026 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Additional visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2026 with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew United Methodist Church, 1951 Wilshire Dr., Frankfort. Rev. Dr. Darin Hendrey will officiate. Private family burial will be held at a later date in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Matthew United Methodist Church.
