The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a speed limit reduction that will impact State Road 32 in Boone County, as part of a roadway realignment project.
Beginning on or after Monday, January 5, crews will install signage reflecting a change in speed limit between Wolf Creek (located just west of County Road 500 W.), extending just east of Enterprise Boulevard on the west side of Lebanon. The new speed limit will be reduced from 55-miles-per hour down to 45. The purpose of the reduction is for the safety of motorists with increased growth coming to the area.
Installation of the signage is weather-dependent and subject to change. INDOT encourages drivers to use caution and avoid distracted driving through the work zone and to be mindful of the new speed limit.
