Willard Ray Leach, 90, of Frankfort, Ind., passed away December 4, 2025 in his home. He was born on December 17, 1934 in Frankfort to James Edward and Martha Jane (Meeks) Leach. He married Vivian “Louise” Cox on January 28, 1971 and she preceded him in death on December 16, 2013.
Willard was a 1953 graduate of Frankfort High School and served as Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from 1954 to 1957. He worked as an inspector for Chrysler in Kokomo for 30 years, retiring April 30, 1987. Willard was a member of the VFW and a 50 year member of the Moose Lodge.
Surviving are his step-daughter: Debby Howe of Chandler, AZ, grandchildren: Jason (Amanda) Kallner of Parker, TX and Terra Hurless of Frankfort, IN, great-grandchildren: Abigail Kallner of VA, Jade Mullinax of Frankfort, IN, and May’Ce Mullinax of Frankfort, IN, great-great-grandchildren: Benjamin Williams, Amelia Williams, Alaric Williams, Navaeh Martinez, and Silas Martinez, nephew: Jeffrey (Donna) Leach of Frankfort, IN along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parent, wife, and sisters: Esther Bicknell and Dorotha Arnold.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Archer-Weston Funeral & Cremation Center, 501 East Clinton Street, Frankfort. Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Clinton County Mausoleum in Green Lawn Cemetery, Frankfort. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Willard’s honor to the Frankfort VFW Post #1110, 309 North Main Street, Frankfort, IN 46041.
