On November 29, 2025, at approximately 5:09 PM, the Boone County Sheriff’s Office responded to a
single-vehicle crash near the intersection of US 421 and County Road 100 N.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered that a blue pick-up truck had slid off the roadway due to weatherrelated conditions, struck a tree, and caught fire. The driver, Jordan Perry, 21, of Greenwood, IN, was
transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.
The Boone County Fatal Alcohol Crash Team (FACT) was requested and will assume responsibility for the
ongoing investigation. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
