Clinton County Central Dispatch has issued a moderate alert for portions of central, north central, and west central Indiana due to expected snowfall this morning.
According to the alert, snow accumulations of up to two inches are possible, creating slippery road conditions across the region. The advisory remains in effect until noon EST today.
Affected counties include: Carroll, Warren, Tippecanoe, Clinton, Howard, Fountain, Montgomery, Boone, Tipton, Hamilton, Madison, Vermillion, Parke, Putnam, Hendricks, Marion, Hancock, Vigo, Clay, Owen, Morgan, Johnson, and Shelby.
Motorists are urged to slow down and use caution while traveling, as roadways, sidewalks, and driveways may become slick. Those walking outdoors should take care on steps and paved surfaces to avoid slips and falls.
