On November 9th, financial aid experts will be at 34 sites across Indiana offering Hoosier families FREE help to file the FAFSA. College Goal Sunday has been assisting students filing the most important form for free money for college for over 37 years. Getting its start in Indiana, College Goal Sunday has since spread across the country. Here in the Hoosier state, these events have helped tens of thousands of families file the FAFSA!
Families MUST file the FAFSA to be eligible for State of Indiana and federal financial aid. April 15th is the priority deadline to guarantee state aid for those that qualify. Students can still file the FAFSA after this date, but funding isn’t guaranteed, which means families could lose thousands of dollars by missing the April 15th priority deadline.
