Beginning on or after Wednesday evening, Oct. 1, crews will begin closing the left lanes on I-65 northbound and southbound over Prairie Creek, located at the 140-mile marker. Work in the left lanes will take up to an hour. The left lanes will open once complete, and the right lanes will close in the same location. Once the closure switches to the right lane, the State Road 32 ramp onto I-65 northbound will also close. The purpose of this work is to repair bridge joints in the area. All work is anticipated to begin around 9 p.m. and be complete by the morning hours, weather-permitting.
