The Clinton Central girls’ golf team took first place at the Hoosier Heartland Conference Championship Tuesday night at Angel Hill Golf Course.
“It was awesome,” Clinton Central coach Sam Skaggs said. “After a weather delay Saturday, (the team) showed excellent composure and confidence. I am so proud of their mental toughness and the improvement each of them has made. The girls truly earned this.”
Clinton Central finished with the top score of 367.
