Get ready for some “aww-worthy” fun at the Burlington Fall Festival Baby Contest on Sunday, October 6, at 2 p.m. Babies from newborn to 3 years old, who live within 12 miles of Burlington, are invited to take part in this sweet tradition.
Here’s how it works: Each participant will create a decorated can featuring their child’s picture, name, age, and guardian’s name. Families are responsible for placing their can in a local business of their choice by September 1 and collecting the donations. All money collected must be turned in by September 27 to Shelly Wiles during the Little Miss and Mister Contest.
The boy and girl whose cans raise the most money will be crowned winners at the festival. Every dollar raised goes right back into supporting the future of the Burlington Fall Festival.
The babies will get their first big debut during the Prince and Princess Contest on Thursday, October 3, at 7 p.m.
