Lifelong Clinton County resident, Arlene Jeanette Ploughe, 87, of rural Frankfort, passed away July 30, 2025 at her home with her family by her side. She was born November 6, 1937 in Frankfort, IN to the late Kenneth & Joyce (Dunn) Wiles. She married Dale McKinney Ploughe at the First Baptist Church, Frankfort on October 4, 1959 and he survives.

She is survived by her husband, Dale of rural Frankfort, son, Mark (Lori) Ploughe of rural Kirklin, daughters, Beth (Jane) Wheeler of Frankfort, Patricia “Trish” (David) Robbins of rural Sheridan, grandchildren, Lance Wheeler, Brent (Matt) Ploughe, Janelle (Kristopher) Boyd, Landon (Rebecca) Ploughe, great-grandchildren, Kennedy Ploughe, Raegan Ploughe and Nova Boyd.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. ~ 1 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Hills Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life will begin at 1 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hills Baptist Church, 4296 S CR 1380 E, Kirklin, IN 46050. Clinton County Crematory and Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S.
