Donald “Donnie” Reed Whicker, 66, of Mulberry, IN, passed away July 6, 2025 in his home. He was born on May 8, 1959 in Lebanon to Donald Gene and Doris M. (Clinton) Whicker. He married Rebecca Jane Page on August 17, 2008 and she survives.
Donnie was a 1977 graduate of Frankfort Senior High School and had worked for Winski Brothers Inc. for 44 years, retiring on September 30, 2022. He was a member and past Commander of the Sons of the American Legion. Donnie loved spending time with his family and friends. He didn’t know a stranger and had the biggest heart, he loved talking to and helping people. He also enjoyed playing guitar and singing karaoke, along with hunting and fishing.
Surviving along with his wife: Rebecca are his daughters: Stephanie Whicker (Kasey Howe) of Lafayette and Amber Whicker (Tiffany Camplin) of Frankfort, sons: Sean Whicker of Mulberry and Bradley Whicker (Fiancé: Shannon Mullin) of Frankfort, step-son: Anthony Page of Frankfort, and sisters: Opal Athena Whicker Burgan (Rick) of Madison and Charlotte Kathleen Whicker Avery (Jerry) of Dayton, 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Gary Conard and David Conard.
A Celebration of Life will be held Noon – 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at the Frankfort American Legion Post 12.
