Wilma Marie Scott, 95, of Mulberry, passed away at Mulberry Health and Retirement on Sunday, March 9, 2025. She was born on February 25, 1930, in Fowler to Albert and Clara (Bertsche) Ferguson. She married Glenn D. Scott on December 16, 1950. He preceded her in passing on October 30, 2010.
Wilma was a 1949 graduate of Mulberry High School. She worked for Public Service Indiana for 23 years before retiring in 1990. She was a member of Mulberry Trinity Church and the Good Will Sunday School Class. She enjoyed playing cards at the senior center, bird watching, gardening, watching the Chicago Cubs and Purdue Boilermakers; and spending time with family every Sunday.
She is survived by her children, David (Lisa) Scott, Steven Scott, Robert (Kate) Scott, Becky (Robert Schweikarth) Scott, and Linda Ping; sister Lois Ann Maish; and grandchildren, Shonna (Mike) Layher, Shane (Kristie) Robinson, Dru (Mandy) Scott, Addie (Jared) Oswalt, Kayla (Michael Boesch) Scott, Blake (Kendra) Scott, Jesse Scott; and great grandchildren, Cash, Chase, Grayson, Bennett, Lainey, Lauren, Elliette.
Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Sisters, Harriett Toney and Irene Wood; brothers, Lloyd and Leo Ferguson; and a son-in-law, Royel Ping.
Private family services will be held with burial at Fair Haven Cemetery. Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Mulberry Chapel is assisting with the arrangements.
