The National Weather Services has issued a wind advisory that will be in effect tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 28 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in portions of Central Indiana.
The service stated that southwest winds are expected to range between 20 and 30 miles per hour with the possibility of 55 miles per hour wind gusts.
Gusty winds may blow around unsecured objects, and tree limbs could be blown down with a few power outages possible as a result.
Strong winds may also make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
Drivers should exercise additional caution during the higher winds, and community members should secure outdoor objects to prevent loss.
