Robert Blacker, 93, of Colfax, Ind., passed away February 23, 2025 at IU Health Arnette Hospital in Lafayette. He was born on October 4, 1931 in Tippecanoe County to Frank and Louise (Bowen) Blacker. He married Patricia Doke on February 13, 1952 in Crawfordsville and she survives.
Bob was a 1951 graduate of Clarks Hill High School and served in the United States Army from January 1953 to October 1954. He was a life-long farmer. He loved farming and spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving along with Patricia, his wife of 73 years, are his Daughters: Terri Brown of Frankfort and Kathy Sterling of Colfax; Grandchildren: Stacy (Dan) Goins of Colfax and Jason (Lindsey) Hurless of Advance; along with 5 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son: Gary Blacker, 2 brothers, and a sister.
In accordance with Bob’s wishes, there will be no services held. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery in Colfax at a later date.
