The Carroll at Flora FFA competitive teams placed highly during their Area Contest last week with one team taking home the first-place position to advance onto State alongside another team.
The Carroll at Flora FFA Crops, Forestry and Entomology teams competed in the Area Contest last week with the entomology team of Ruth Sangillo, Jillian Salts, Morgan Kuns and Hallee Shuman taking home the first-place prize and moving onto the State competition.
The crops team of Emily Justice, Kate McClain and Olivia Schroder placed fifth in the competition, securing their spot in the advancement to the State competition.
The forestry team placed eighth overall.
In crops, Emily Justice placed third overall. In entomology, Ruth Sangillo placed fourth, Jullian Salts placed fifth and Morgan Kuns placed tenth overall.
