Nancy K. Clossin, 93 of Frankfort, died November 17, 2024 at Wesley Manor. She was born May 20, 1931 in Ashland, Wisconsin to Peter & Irene (Tankersley) Staugaard. She married Joe W. Clossin on November 26, 1952 and he preceded her in death on November 11, 2021.
Nancy was a 1949 graduate of Fr
ankfort High School. A homemaker, Nancy was a people person, she enjoyed sewing, playing Bridge, traveling, casinos, but mostly she loved her family and spending time with them. She was a member of the Psi Iota Xi Sorority.
Nancy is survived by her daughters: Janna Cripe of Frankfort and Karen (Brad) Cunningham of Frankfort, son-in-law: Mike McKenney of Painesville, OH, brother: Harold “Buzzy” (Barbara) Staugaard of Sarasota, FL.
Nancy had 7 grandchildren, Ryan McKenney (wife Julie), Sarah Grimaldi, Chip Irwin (wife Teresa), Camon Milligan (husband Curt), Brock Irwin, Lindsay (husband Brandon) Reef, Brooke (husband Douglas) Sutton and 6 great-grandchildren, Olive McKenney, Leo McKenney, Malaya Grimaldi, Korra Grimaldi, Logan Irwin, and Colin Milligan.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, husband, great grandson, Logan Irwin, daughter, Connie McKenney, brothers, James Peter Staugaard and Don Staugaard.
Funeral Services:
Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. -12 Noon Friday, November 22, 2024 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 12 Noon at the funeral home.
