Lebanon Fire Department Implements New Self Contained Breathing Apparatus Systems

The Lebanon Fire Department announced the implementation of the new Scott 5.5 Self Contained Breathing Apparatus systems for its emergency response services.

The department stated that the new air packs, cylinders and masks host numerous state-of-the-art features intended to improve the operations of the department and enhance firefighter health and safety.

“This marks the first major overhaul of LFD’s SCBA program in over 22 years,” the department released. “Firefighters spent the last several days training on the new equipment and we excited to place their SCBA on the firetrucks.”

The new LFD SCBAs are officially in service.
