On Wednesday evening, the Lady Hot Dogs faced off against Crawfordsville in a soccer match that kicked off at a steady pace due to quick reactions and plans of attack from Abi Garza, Emily Mora and Ava Michael. However, the Crawfordsville girls kicked back harder, securing two goals within the first half of play. The Lady Hot Dogs did not let the two-goal lead dim their spark as they fought to hold Crawfordsville to a low score as Rachael Garcia scored the lone goal for the team with Klarissa Castaneda being noted for numerous outstanding saves.
The Lady Hot Dogs eventually fell in the second half to Crawfordsville with a final score of 1 to 5.
