The Suncrest Elementary School team announced that a new morning drop-off routine will be enacted beginning today, Monday, Aug. 26 to allow for a quicker process for parents to enter and exit the school grounds.
The Suncrest Elementary School team stated that beginning today, a new morning drop-off procedure for car riders will begin, releasing that the school will begin letting students out of their cars when an adult exits the building around 7:40 a.m. Parents are instructed to keep their students inside their vehicle until a Suncrest staff member is spotted outside of the building.
Following the exiting of the vehicle, students will be instructed to line up by the front door in a line that corresponds to their grade level, being admitted into the building around 7:45 a.m. in hopes that the process will “speed up” the morning drop-offs.
The Suncrest team further released information regarding access to breakfast at the school.
Another very important part of this message is that our cafeteria will only be serving students breakfast who arrive by 8 a.m. All students who are arriving after 8 a.m. and are tardy will not have the opportunity to get a breakfast.
Our hope is that all our students are able to eat, so please make every effort to arrive at school no later than 8 a.m. This new drop-off procedure should speed up the car rider line. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding with this matter.
