The City of Frankfort announced its upcoming bake sale in benefit of the United Way for Clinton County set for Friday, Aug. 23 at Old Stoney at 301 E. Clinton St. in Frankfort.
The bake sale, which has become an annual event for the city during its participation as a Pacesetter in the United Way annual campaign, will sweeten up the Old Stoney Conference Room from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to raise funds for the campaign on Aug. 23.
The city has announced that last year’s bake sale saw an outstanding turnout with over $630 raised for the United Way, and the city has set a goal this year to raise over $700 in support of the organization.
From cookies, pies and cakes to newfound culinary creations, the City of Frankfort Bake Sale to Benefit the United Way is set to provide a sweet treat suitable for any craving.
