Jacob’s Ladder Food Pantry Accepts Donations Of Canned Vegetables For July For Colfax, Perry Township Residents

The Jacob’s Ladder Food Pantry is requesting aid from community members in the Colfax area to provide non-perishable products to those in need in the Clinton County community.

The Jacob’s Ladder Food Pantry team has announced that Colfax Christian Church will be accepting donations of canned vegetables during the month of July with only a few more opportunities remaining to donate. Community members are encouraged to bring any donations of canned vegetables to Colfax Christian Church and placing the donations in the designated bins in the building’s entrance.

The church released that the pantry is currently in need of green beans in particular with all other canned vegetables being accepted as well.

The hours of operation are Mondays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Colfax Christian church. The church released a verse of encouragement for the community to follow when donating from Corinthians.

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7

Donations may be distributed to Colfax Christian Church at 314 S. Clark St. in Colfax to benefit the community of Colfax and Perry Township residents during the hours of operation.
