The first Thursday Thunder of the season kicked off last night, Thursday, June 6 with almost 100 vehicles displayed for the community to explore alongside vendors and activities for all ages.
The Clinton County Chamber of Commerce announced that the first Thursday Thunder of the 2024 summer season proved successful at Veterans Park as visitors from across the county explored over 93 vehicles parked along the street with numerous visitors expressing their interest in returning for the rest of the summer.
“We are blown away by the support that was shown tonight,” the Chamber released. “We lost count of the cars still rolling in after 93.”
The Chamber stated that a beautiful night mixed with classic cars drew attendees from across the county and over county lines to downtown Frankfort to explore the array of vehicles at the cruise-in, enjoy music by Good Times Professional Audio and snack on food from Catering by C&R.
The activities continued with sidewalk chalk and coloring books for kids to enjoy during the cruise-in provided by the Frankfort Unified Neighborhood’s Group and overseen by Catering by C&R.
“The Clinton County Chamber of Commerce and our partner Frankfort Main Street can’t thank you all enough for spending the evening with us,” the Chamber released. “We can’t wait for the next one.”
