Rossville Consolidated School District announced the appointment of a new Assistant Principal for Rossville Middle and Senior High School who is expected to infuse her extensive educational background with the new experiences at Rossville to uplift the students and staff at the school.
The district announced the appointment of Sierra Hall as the new Assistant Principal of Rossville Middle and Senior High School earlier this week after the board approved her nomination for the role due to her deep-rooted education-based background and her commitment to fostering student success that the board expressed would help uplift the students and staff as she employs her wealth of experience and enthusiasm for the role into her daily duties.
“Hailing from a close-knit rural community, Hall has always been drawn to similar environments throughout her career,” the district released. “Her journey in education began at Indiana State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies Education. Over the course of five fulfilling years, she dedicated herself to teaching middle school students, experiencing the profound impact of mentorship and connection on their academic journeys.”
Hall continued her educational journey by obtaining her Master of Education in Administration and Supervision diploma from Indiana State University before serving as an assistant principal for over a year.
“Although initially stepping out of her comfort zone, this role gave her invaluable insights into behavioral interventions, academic support and early literacy,” the district released. “Hall is eager to apply her skills and experiences to support the diverse needs of our students.”
Hall expressed her excitement for the opportunity to foster the excellence that she seeks to instill within the students and staff at Rossville, and she commented that one of her main goals in the position will be to bring the community together as students and staff grow alongside each other.
“It is an honor to have been entrusted with this position, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve our community,” Hall said. “Together, let’s empower our students to thrive.”
The district encouraged the community to welcome Hall to the Rossville community as she embarks on her new journey with the Rossville Middle and Senior High School.
“Please join us in welcoming Sierra Hall to her new role as Assistant Principal,” the district released. “We are confident that her passion and dedication will greatly benefit our students and school community.”
Hall will be joined in the administrative role by Michael Hammons, who will assume the role of Principal for the Middle and Senior High School in Rossville.
