Due to a 94% chance of rain throughout the day Saturday, the Red Barn Summer Theatre has announced that the Summer Kick-off will be moved to Sunday afternoon.
The event, originally scheduled for Saturday evening, will be moved to Sunday, June 2 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. to account for the potential rainfall.
Due to the rescheduled date, the Bruno’s Pizzeria food truck and musician Maddy Connor will not be in attendance due to prior commitments.
Touch of Grass will still perform from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the lawn, and sweets from Carmelot will still be available for the community to enjoy.
The Red Barn Box Office will be open for those who prefer to purchase tickets in person.
“If you’ve never been to the Barn, then this open house and free concert sponsored by the Eagle’s Lodge is the perfect afternoon to do it,” the Red Barn released.
While The Cellar will not be open Sunday to serve beer and wine as previously planned for the Saturday kick-off, The Pump will offer soft drinks, candy and Barn Boxes. Community members are allowed to bring their own coolers with liquid refreshments to the event on Sunday.
