The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced a temporary road closure on State Road 26 in Rossville set to begin today and extend through August.
Beginning on or after today, Monday, June 3, crews will begin closing on lane at a time on State Road 26 through Rossville as they resurface the roadway. Upon the completion of the first lane, work will begin on the opposite side of the road.
The department stated that the construction is expected to last until August with weather permitting, but the exact date the construction is expected to be completed has not been released.
Drivers are encouraged to exercise caution while traveling in the area and to find an alternative route around the closure.
