After many inquiries and dozens of calls and emails, Glover’s Ice Cream is pleased to announce that new ownership will continue the nearly 100 year legacy of great-tasting ice cream and frozen treats.
“I have seen first-hand the passion and desire the new owners have for this business”, said Steve Glover, longtime owner-operator, “and I am excited and believe my family’s work is being delivered into good hands,” Glover added.
The new owner group has much work to do but plans to have operations up and running by early Summer, just in time to enjoy some sweet, creamy delight on a hot summer’s day.
Glover’s Ice Cream remains the only independently operated ice cream manufacturer in Indiana.
Glover’s, started in 1925, has been in the Glover family for three generations prior to the last ownership transfer to the Helm family. Today’s announcement insures Glover’s will continue and remain under local ownership.
