Two Frankfort Residents Arrested In SWAT Call-Out

The Frankfort Police Department issued a release regarding a SWAT call-out on March 10 in the 400 block of West Ohio Street where an investigation led to the arrest of two Frankfort residents.

Just after 8 p.m., officers reportedly arrived at the address and were told by Veronica Littrell, 34, that the suspect, who was a wanted person, Billy Brantner, 38, was not present at the residence, police say. Following an investigation, officers reported that Brantner was inside the apartment and refused commands to exit the apartment.

According to officers, the situation was assessed, and prior criminal acts and behaviors constituted the need for the Clinton County SWAT team, and a search warrant was requested.

Officers reported that once authorities arrived, Branter was removed from the apartment and taken into custody with no injuries to officers or suspects, but the department reported that minimal structural damage was sustained. Officers cleared the scene shortly after midnight.

The department continued to report that Littrell, 34, was also arrested for false informing.
