A Beginner’s Guide to Grant Writing Workshop will launch in at the Clinton County Purdue Extension office at 1111 S. Jackson St. in Frankfort on March 21 and April 11 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for Clinton County residents.
The two-day workshop is designed to benefit both beginner and immediate-level grant writers, and potential participants are encouraged to formulate an idea and be prepared to write for the workshop. The workshop states that participants will have a proposal outline and the resources needed to expand the outline into a full proposal by the conclusion of the first day of the workshop on March 21.
Participants are encouraged to return with a full proposal on day two, April 11, as staff will place the participant into the role of a reviewer, teaching strategies for find funding and providing participants with an opportunity to police the final proposal before submitting it for a strong professional review.
“Whether your project is big or small, this workshop will give you the information you need to submit proposals confidently,” the release reads.
The workshop is $195 to attend, which includes lunch and materials distributed on both days. Participants will receive a manual on the first day of the workshop, which will be held in the computer lab at the Clinton County Purdue Extension office at 1111 S. Jackson St. in Frankfort.
The registration deadline is March 14 at 11:59 p.m.
