Clinton County Central Dispatch Executive Director Renee Crick introduced Chris Guajardo as her new Assistant Director for the department at Tuesday morning’s Clinton County Commissioners meeting.
“Chris previously worked for Central Dispatch,” said Crick. “He was with us for almost seven years in the roles of dispatcher and shift supervisor. He left us about four years ago for a different career path. Now, he’s hack and joining us. He will be leading us as the Assistant Director for Central Dispatch.”
Guajardo said he’s excited about coming back.
“I’m ready to get started,” said Guajardo. “I’m looking forward to 2024, working with Renee and being a part of the team again.”
While he was away from Dispatch, Guajardo worked for TDS Telecom, which is a telephone company. He managed construction projects for the company.
Crick also announced they will be increasing the size of her department.
“We’re actually going to be growing in 2024,” said Crick. “We’re adding positions and we need to stay up with the times. We have officers being added — firemen and others. So, we are growing as well. Here, very soon, we will taking applications and doing testing to start filling those positions. We have a lot of exciting things coming in 2024.”
