COVER Clinton County Project Kicks Off

The CORE Community Center has recently kicked off the Cover Clinton County project intended to provide every community member with the ability to obtain coverings during the colder months of the year.

Donations may be dropped off at the plastic storage containers in the community garden.

The project acts as a “take some or leave some” program where community members are encouraged to drop off winter covering items, such as winter coats, hats, gloves, scarves, blankets, tarps, sleeping bags and more for community members in need of coverings to utilize for the winter.

CORE posted that the “collection bin is geared to help individuals with cover preparation for the upcoming cold temperatures.” The collection bin is accessible by any community member in need and is not limited to members of CORE.

Donations are currently being accepted for the collection and may be placed in the plastic storage containers in the community garden at CORE. For more information, contact CORE at 765-654-9622.
