Community Shred Day Will Be a Part of Kirklin Main Street’s Octoberfest Saturday

During Octoberfest, Kirklin Main Street is having a free Community Shred Day from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, October 14. Document Mountain of Kirklin will be helping with the shredding.

Individuals can two boxes per person, old tax returns, bank statements, outdated bills, financial records and personal documents. This is an excellent opportunity to purge and safeguard your privacy.

Drop off will be in front of the Marathon Station, 117 S. Main St., Kirklin.

Octoberfest itself will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Shopping begins at 10 a.m. with free admission and free parking. This is an outdoor event (rain or shine). The Market features antiques, vintage, retro, handmade items, boutique clothing, food, vendors and much more. There will be 25-plus vendors. Also, the 22nannual Timmy Take Down will be held in the Farmers Bank Parking Lot from 1-3 p.m. From there, you can head over to West Madison Street and enjoy live music by The Mulligan’s.
