Robert K. Bogue Sr., 80, of Frankfort, died September 25, 2023 at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, surrounded by his family. He was born April 8, 1943 in Kokomo, Ind. to Cletis & Mildred (Whitehead) Bogue. He married his high school sweetheart, Nina J. O’Neal on April 6, 1963 and she survives.
Bob was a 1962 gradu
ate of Western High School in Russiaville. He was a lifelong pastor who pastored at Souls’ Harbor Missionary Baptist Church in Frankfort. He had previously pastored for the Oxford Missionary Baptist Church, established the Lighthouse Missionary Baptist Church in Kokomo and pastored for 10 years in Tennessee. Bob enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. He dearly loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his wife: Nina J. Bogue of Frankfort, son: Robert K. “Rob” (Karen) Bogue Jr. of Frankfort, daughter: Leigh Ann (Rick) Burton of Kokomo, 4 grandchildren: Kortney (Joshua) Golden, Katelyn (Dakota) Large, Dustin McKee and Emilee McKee, 4 great grandchildren: Averi Kate Golden, Savannah Rayne Golden, Hudson Kade Large and Hendrix James Large. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Richard Bogue and sister-in-law, Mary Jackson
Funeral Service:
Visitation will be 4:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Chase Lay and Pastor David Coffman will officiate. Private family entombment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Kokomo, Ind.
