Dorothy O’Bryan Rock, 94, of Frankfort, died November 9, 2022 at I.U. Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette, Ind. She was born September 29, 1928 in Owensboro, Kentucky to Joseph Edward & Dellen M. (Edge) O’Bryan. She married Paul Rock on November 6, 1948 in Lebanon, Ind. and he survives.
Dorothy was raised in Peru
, Ind. and moved to Frankfort in 1936. She was a 1948 graduate of Frankfort High School. Dorothy had worked for P.R. Mallory and St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where she was active with the Ladies of Charity.
She is survived by her husband: Paul Rock of Frankfort and over 200 nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters, Norma Wells, Margaret Geraldine Mathews, Anna Ruth O’Bryan and Helen Day.
Funeral Services:
Visitation will be 9-10:30 a.m. Monday, November 14, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 600 St. Mary’s Ave., Frankfort. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church Ladies of Charity. Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S.
