Cleo G. Woodruff, 83, of Frankfort, IN, passed away on October 7, 2022 at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in North Venice, FL. He was born on November 8, 1938 in Carroll County to William E. and Edna Lucille (Bible) Woodruff. He married Betty Louise Hill and she preceded him in death on May 6, 2022.
Cleo was a 1957 graduate of Rossville High School and served in the United States Army from December 13, 1961 to December 12, 1963. He worked for the National Cigar Factory and Mallory Controls both in Frankfort and retired from Delco Electronics in Kokomo. In his retirement, he worked at Goodwin Funeral Home. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Frankfort. He enjoyed family history, Frankfort history, remote control airplanes, and an occasional good game of golf.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers: Clinton Woodruff, Kenny Woodruff, Harold Woodruff, Fred Woodruff, and sisters: Sarah Kingsolver, Wilma Forney, and Glenda Kiger.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2022 at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Frankfort. Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort is assisting the family.
