On June 14, the Kokomo Police Department received a complaint of a hit and run accident that occurred at Target, 1037 S. Reed Rd. The incident occurred at approximately 11:51am. During the investigation, images were obtained from surveillance video in the area which appears to show the accident taking place. The suspect vehicle appears to impact an unoccupied parked vehicle while it was attempting to pull into a parking space.
The suspect vehicle is described as a black in color Dodge Durango with a tow hitch attached to the rear. Please refer to the attached photographs. The Kokomo Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance with identifying this vehicle and its driver at the time of the accident.
This case remains active for investigation.
